UzProdExpo

Central Asia’s Leading Food and Food Industry Exhibition

UzProdExpo is the largest and most established international exhibition in Uzbekistan dedicated to the food industry, food products, beverages, and ingredients. Held annually in Tashkent, it serves as a comprehensive business platform covering the entire food production chain — from ingredient development and processing to packaging, storage, and distribution.

Event Overview

The 21st International UzProdExpo-2026 is scheduled for November 17–19, 2026, at the Uzexpocentre NEC in Tashkent. The exhibition is organized by International Expo Group (IEG Uzbekistan) and is held with official support from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Council of Farmers and Dehkan Farms, and the O’zOSU Food Industry Association of Uzbekistan.

UzProdExpo is co-located with UzAgroExpo (agriculture) and InterPackExpo (packaging), creating a unified platform that spans the full cycle from agricultural production to processing, packaging, and delivery of finished products to consumers.

Scale and Participation

According to recent edition data, UzProdExpo 2025 occupied a total exhibition area of 12,000 square meters and featured 245 exhibitors from countries including China, South Korea, Japan, Russia, Turkey, the United States, Azerbaijan, and others. The event attracted approximately 10,500 visitors.

A separate report on the 2025 edition indicated participation from over 80 companies from 10 countries — Uzbekistan, Belarus, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Pakistan, Russia, Turkey, and France — with more than 4,000 registered visitors from 34 countries. The variation in figures reflects differences in how co-located events and visitor categories are counted.

Market Context

Uzbekistan is Central Asia’s most populous country with approximately 34 million residents, and its food industry is undergoing significant modernization. The country produces over 20 million tons of fruits and vegetables annually, yet only 10–15% is processed domestically due to limited cooling and storage capacity — creating strong demand for processing equipment, packaging solutions, refrigeration technology, and modern cold chain systems.

The food processing sector is a priority for government development, with growing demand for modern equipment, ingredients, and packaging technologies. International participation has been steadily increasing, with national pavilions and collective stands from Russia, Belarus, and other countries becoming regular features.

Why It Matters

For international companies, UzProdExpo provides a strategic entry point into Uzbekistan’s expanding food market and the broader Central Asian region. The exhibition attracts procurement decision-makers, senior industry practitioners, and business leaders from food production, logistics, packaging, and retail sectors. It serves as a platform for establishing new business connections, evaluating suppliers, and understanding market trends.

For local businesses, the event offers access to global suppliers of ingredients, processing equipment, and packaging solutions that support the modernization of Uzbekistan’s food industry. The co-location with UzAgroExpo and InterPackExpo creates synergies for companies operating across the agricultural, food processing, and packaging value chains.
