Market Context and Opportunities

Azerbaijan is actively investing in the modernization of its transport infrastructure. Large-scale projects for the construction and reconstruction of roads, bridges, and tunnels are underway, alongside the implementation of intelligent transport systems. Particular attention is being paid to the restoration and development of infrastructure in the liberated territories of Karabakh—a process that requires comprehensive solutions for road construction, public transport organization, and the creation of modern transport hubs.

Furthermore, Azerbaijan is a key link in international transport corridors, including the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), which connects China and Europe via the Caspian Sea. This creates additional opportunities for companies specializing in logistics, freight management, and the development of transport hubs.

Road & Traffic provides international companies with direct access to this developing market, offering a unique opportunity to meet with Azerbaijan’s public transport operators, participate in tenders in the sector, and engage with leadership from the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, Baku Metro, and industry state structures, as well as specialists from road construction contractor companies.

Co-Location with Caspian Construction Week

Road & Traffic 2026 will be held concurrently with Caspian Construction Week, which unites four interrelated exhibitions at the Baku Expo Center:

  • BakuBuild – 31st Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition
