Tajikistan has developed a focused exhibition calendar centered on its capital, Dushanbe. The Dushanbe Expo International Exhibition Center serves as the country’s primary venue for major trade fairs, while the Hyatt Regency Dushanbe hosts specialized business forums. These events reflect Tajikistan’s strategic priorities: developing its hydropower potential, modernizing agriculture and textile production, expanding tourism, and attracting foreign investment to its growing economy.
Here is a look at the largest and most significant exhibitions that define Tajikistan’s business calendar.
The Flagship Event: Tajikistan International Universal Exhibition
The Tajikistan International Universal Exhibition is the country’s largest and most comprehensive trade fair, serving as the flagship event on the national exhibition calendar. The 2026 edition, held November 12–14 at the Dushanbe Expo International Exhibition Center, brings together leading domestic and foreign companies to showcase products across virtually every sector of the economy.
The exhibition’s thematic coverage is remarkably broad, spanning energy and hydropower, mining and metallurgy, mechanical engineering, agriculture and food processing, construction, light industry, medicine and pharmaceuticals, information technology, transport and logistics, banking and insurance, and tourism. This universal format makes it the single most important gathering for businesses seeking to understand the full scope of Tajikistan’s economic potential and establish contacts across multiple industries.
Organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, the event traditionally attracts representatives from foreign countries and serves as a platform for showcasing Tajikistan’s economic achievements while facilitating international trade and investment cooperation. The business program includes a dedicated forum, B2B meetings, and opportunities for signing cooperation agreements.
Construction: TajBuild
TajBuild is the largest professional event in Tajikistan’s construction sector and one of the most established exhibitions on the national calendar. The 27th International Construction and Interior Exhibition, scheduled for October 22–24, 2026, at the Dushanbe Expo Center, brings together leading manufacturers and suppliers of building materials, equipment, tools, and technologies.
The exhibition covers the full construction spectrum: building materials, finishing materials, engineering equipment, tools and machinery, interior design, and construction technologies and innovations. It attracts representatives of government bodies, architects, designers, senior executives, construction industry professionals, and trade representatives from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Turkey, and international organizations.
The previous edition, TajBuild 2024, featured more than 60 participants from various countries and served as a platform for presenting the latest construction technologies, materials, and architectural solutions. The event is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan in partnership with the construction company Stroy Center.
Healthcare and Beauty: INTER HEALTH & BEAUTY TAJIKISTAN
INTER HEALTH & BEAUTY TAJIKISTAN is the premier regional event in medicine, cosmetology, and the wellness industry. The 2026 edition, held June 18–20 at the Dushanbe Expo International Exhibition Center, was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the official support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The exhibition brought together companies from Tajikistan, Iran, Russia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other countries, presenting medical equipment and technologies, pharmaceutical products, cosmetology and aesthetic medicine, care and hygiene products, wellness and SPA solutions, laboratory equipment and diagnostics, and natural and organic products.
The primary objective is to deliver an effective B2B networking platform enabling domestic and international enterprises to forge long-term partnerships, negotiate contracts, and capture new distribution networks. A notable feature of the 2026 edition was the presentation of an IT platform—a mobile application operating as an online service for finding medicines—reflecting the growing digitalization of Tajikistan’s healthcare sector. The exhibition is open to both industry professionals and the general public, with beauty industry products available at discounted prices.
Food Industry and Packaging: UPAK EXPO and Tajikistan Food Industry Forum
UPAK EXPO 2026, the International Exhibition of Packaging Solutions for the Food and Non-Food Industries, was held August 20–22 at the Dushanbe Expo Center as part of the First International Food Industry Forum of Tajikistan.
The exhibition featured more than 50 leading industry companies from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Russia, and Türkiye, showcasing packaging machinery and equipment, finished packaging, labels, packaging materials, equipment for food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic production, and digital and outdoor advertising solutions across more than 25 thematic sections.
The exhibition is aimed at promoting the development of the packaging industry, introducing modern industrial technologies, expanding business and trade relations between manufacturers and suppliers, and attracting direct investment into the food industry sector. The business program included direct B2B negotiations, presentations of new products and innovative technologies, and the signing of financial contracts and cooperation agreements.
The First International Food Industry Forum, held August 20–21 at the Hyatt Regency Dushanbe, preceded the exhibition and featured panel discussions, an investment session, new technologies, B2B meetings, and international cooperation opportunities.
Tourism: DITE – Dushanbe International Tourism Exhibition
The Dushanbe International Tourism Exhibition (DITE) is Tajikistan’s premier tourism industry event, held annually in September to coincide with World Tourism Day. The 3rd edition (DITE-2026) took place September 24–26 at the Dushanbe Expo Center, bringing together 115 companies, including 22 foreign companies, from across the tourism sector.
The exhibition features travel agencies, car rental companies, airlines, IT firms, hotels, hunting tourism representatives, and other industry participants. Over three days, guests attend panel discussions, B2B meetings, cooperation agreement signings, and cultural events.
The program is structured around key themes: the opening day featured the Dushanbe Sustainable Tourism Forum, focusing on cooperation between cities, tourism organizations, and international partners, as well as discussions on how artificial intelligence and digital technologies are transforming tourist destinations and traveler experiences. The second day was dedicated to gastronomic tourism, including a Central Asian Gastronomic Show introducing traditional dishes from across the region, and a discussion with women developing the tourism sector in Central Asia. The final day focused on medical and wellness tourism, concluding with Dushanbe Tourism Fest 2026, featuring cultural performances, a souvenir fair, and national cuisine.
The International Tourism Exhibition in Dushanbe has been held since 2024 and has already brought together 290 tourism industry representatives, including 85 foreign companies from 18 countries.
Textiles: International Textile Forum Tajikistan
The International Textile Forum Tajikistan – 2026, held September 23 at the Hyatt Regency Dushanbe, represents a strategic initiative to develop Tajikistan’s textile industry and attract foreign investment. Organized by the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies with support from the Government of Tajikistan and in partnership with the International Federation of Textile Manufacturers, the forum is dedicated to establishing a complete textile production value chain in Tajikistan—from cotton fiber to finished products.
The forum showcases investment opportunities in cotton production, cotton processing, textile manufacturing, and the development of integrated industrial clusters. A key selling point is Tajikistan’s 98 percent renewable hydropower and long-term tax incentives, positioning the country as a competitive hub in the global textile market. The event addresses investment attraction, modern technologies, energy efficiency, green production, expansion of export capacity, and integration of Tajik textile products into global value chains. It provides a platform for presenting specific investment projects, establishing direct contacts between entrepreneurs and investors, and strengthening cooperation between Tajikistan and international companies in the textile sector.
