The Largest Exhibitions in Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyzstan EXPO & EXPO EURASIA

Kyrgyzstan has developed a focused exhibition landscape that reflects its role as a bridge between Central Asia, China, and Russia. The capital, Bishkek, hosts virtually all of the country’s major trade fairs, with key venues including Zhashtyk Arena, the Kyrgyz State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports Manege, and the Kojomkul Sports Palace. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan serves as the primary coordinator of exhibition activity, organizing up to 30 exhibition and fair events annually.

Here is a look at the largest and most significant exhibitions that define Kyrgyzstan’s business calendar.

The Flagship Event: Kyrgyzstan EXPO & EXPO EURASIA

The single largest exhibition event in Kyrgyzstan’s history is scheduled for October 15–17, 2026, when the Chamber of Commerce and Industry unites two major international forums—Kyrgyzstan EXPO 2026 and the II International Industrial Exhibition EXPO EURASIA KYRGYZSTAN 2026—at a single venue, Zhashtyk Arena in Bishkek.

The scale of this combined event is unprecedented for the country. The exhibition will occupy over 3,000 square meters and bring together more than 500 domestic and foreign companies, with over 3,000 professional visitors, investors, and top managers expected to attend. The participant geography covers key economic centers of Eurasia, with government and business delegations, chamber representatives, and venture funds from China, South Korea, Japan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Tajikistan, Türkiye, and other countries.

The business program is extensive and structured around B2B and B2G negotiations, investment project presentations, and meetings of five key industry business councils covering construction, automotive, industry, oil, and mining. Roundtables will address priority areas including energy and fuel complex cooperation, mining, transport and logistics, agro-industrial complex, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, and education. According to the Kyrgyz Expo Centre of the Chamber of Commerce, “the unification of two key exhibitions and specialized business councils on one platform opens a unique window of opportunity for business: in three days of intensive work, companies can conduct negotiations of a level that would normally take months to organize”.

This event represents the first time the Chamber has combined these two major forums, signaling an ambition to position Bishkek as a serious meeting point for Eurasian industrial and trade cooperation.

SCO Business & Industry Expo Kyrgyzstan 2026

Held June 25–26, 2026 at Zhashtyk Arena, the SCO Business & Industry Expo Kyrgyzstan 2026 was one of the largest international business platforms of the year, organized as part of Kyrgyzstan’s chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The exhibition brought together leading companies from SCO member states, government agency representatives, chambers of commerce, business associations, international investors, manufacturers, exporters, and entrepreneurs. Over two days, participants explored modern technologies, innovative developments, investment projects, and the export potential of companies from Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other countries.

Particular attention was devoted to developing trade and economic ties between SCO countries, implementing joint projects, and strengthening investment cooperation. The event showcased products from leading domestic manufacturers, the export potential of the Kyrgyz Republic, investment projects and promising business initiatives, and achievements in industry, light industry, agro-industrial complex, construction, and services. The program included B2B meetings, business negotiations, company presentations, and investment projects with international partners and foreign delegations.

The 2026 edition, held April 14–16, brought together more than 110 companies from 9 countries, presenting modern building materials and technologies, building engineering systems, energy and infrastructure solutions, metal structures, and construction machinery and equipment.

The exhibition is held at the Kyrgyz State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports named after B.T. Turusbekov in Bishkek. According to the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic, the event facilitates the development of international cooperation and the attraction of advanced technologies to the country’s construction sector. Now in its 23rd edition, KyrgyzBuild has become an established platform for companies seeking to participate in Kyrgyzstan’s ongoing infrastructure modernization.

The exhibition provides a valuable platform for participants to showcase the latest technologies, establish connections, and expand business operations. For manufacturers and medical professionals alike, MedExpo serves as an ideal venue for accessing industry information and understanding market dynamics in Kyrgyzstan’s healthcare sector.

Tourism: Ala-Too TravelExpo

Ala-Too TravelExpo is Kyrgyzstan’s first international tourism exhibition, scheduled for April 28–30, 2026. The event serves as a platform for showcasing Kyrgyzstan’s tourism potential—from the alpine landscapes of the Tian Shan mountains and Lake Issyk-Kul to the country’s rich nomadic heritage and growing adventure tourism sector.

The exhibition brings together tourism companies, government agencies, and international operators interested in a market that remains relatively underdeveloped but offers significant growth potential, particularly in eco-tourism and cultural tourism segments.

Food Industry: FoodExpo Kyrgyzstan

FoodExpo Kyrgyzstan is the international specialized exhibition for food products and beverages, typically held in early April alongside related food industry events. The exhibition covers food products, beverages, and equipment for food processing, including canning and confectionery production.

Running concurrently are specialized exhibitions including FoodTechExpo Kyrgyzstan (equipment for food industry), HorecaBishkek (hotel and restaurant business equipment and services), and UpackExpo Kyrgyzstan (packaging industry equipment and materials). These combined events create a comprehensive platform for the food and hospitality sectors, which are significant contributors to Kyrgyzstan’s economy and employment.

Kyrgyzstan’s exhibition industry operates at a scale that reflects the country’s economic size and strategic position. The October 2026 unification of Kyrgyzstan EXPO and EXPO EURASIA represents a significant step forward, creating the largest business platform in the country’s history. From the SCO-focused trade gathering to sector-specific events in construction, healthcare, and logistics, these exhibitions serve as essential entry points for international companies seeking to engage with Kyrgyzstan’s economy. While the market remains smaller than those of neighboring Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, its strategic location within the Eurasian Economic Union and its role in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization make these events increasingly relevant for businesses positioning themselves in Central Asia.
