SIGGRAPH

The Premier Conference on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques

SIGGRAPH 2027, the 54th annual conference hosted by ACM SIGGRAPH, will take place from August 8–12, 2027, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. The conference is returning to Anaheim for the first time since 2020, positioning itself in a city known for its creative and technological industries.

Conference Leadership and Vision

Leading the conference is Conference Chair Kristy Pron, a Walt Disney Imagineer and an accomplished alumna of Drexel University’s Digital Media program. Pron is a familiar face in the SIGGRAPH community, having previously served as the conference chair for the first-ever virtual SIGGRAPH in 2020. Her career at Disney involves leading the media arts and pipeline team responsible for pre-visualizing attractions across Disney’s global theme parks.

Pron’s vision for SIGGRAPH 2027 centers on fostering interdisciplinary connections. She has stated that “Computer graphics is involved in practically every industry from film and games to theme parks, automotive, medical, and beyond,” and that she aims to “foster connections between attendees in different communities to inspire collaboration and ingenuity in design and production.” This collaborative and cross-industry theme is expected to be a hallmark of the 2027 event.

The SIGGRAPH Legacy

Founded in 1974, SIGGRAPH is the premier conference on computer graphics and interactive techniques, organized by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). Over the decades, it has become the key venue where the industry’s most important innovations are first unveiled and where the global community of computer graphics professionals comes together to learn, share, and inspire.

With Kristy Pron at the helm and a return to Anaheim, SIGGRAPH 2027 promises to be a significant event, showcasing the future of computer graphics and interactive technology.
