RECYCLING SOLUTIONS 2027

RECYCLING SOLUTIONS 2027

As Russia’s packaging recycling mandate climbs toward 100%, RECYCLING SOLUTIONS 2027 arrives as the sector’s most consequential gathering—a specialized platform where equipment makers, recyclers, and producers confront the new economics of waste.

Scheduled for January 26–29, 2027, at the VDNH EXPO Congress and Exhibition Centre in Moscow, RECYCLING SOLUTIONS will run alongside RUPLASTICA (plastics and rubber) and UPAKEXPO (packaging) as part of a unified exhibition alliance organized by Expo Fusion. The co-location places recycling squarely within the production chain—raw materials, processing equipment, finished packaging, and end-of-life recovery all under one roof.

The Regulatory Clock Is Ticking

The timing of the 2027 edition is no accident. Since 2026, Russia’s packaging utilization standard has risen from 55% to 75%, and by 2027 it reaches 100%. For manufacturers and importers, this is not a recommendation but an obligation: build efficient recycling chains and partnerships with utilizers, or pay environmental fees with multiplying coefficients.

According to data cited from SIBUR, the polymer industry will bear the heaviest burden from the new Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements. Yet within that burden lies opportunity—those who find solutions first will cut costs and gain competitive advantage. RECYCLING SOLUTIONS 2027 is designed as the venue where those solutions are presented, compared, and negotiated.

Who Belongs Here

The exhibition targets a focused professional audience. Equipment manufacturers for sorting, washing, granulation, and compounding will find buyers with active procurement authority. Suppliers of secondary raw materials, additives, and compounds will connect with processors seeking reliable inputs. Developers of chemical recycling technologies—pyrolysis and depolymerization—will showcase next-generation approaches. Companies offering turnkey recycling solutions for on-site production, along with service and logistics firms working with secondary resources, round out the exhibitor profile.

Organizers expect direct access to more than 30,000 specialists from over 20 countries, with 88% holding purchasing decision-making authority. The synergy with RUPLASTICA and UPAKEXPO is deliberate: potential clients—plastics processors, packaging manufacturers, municipal utilities, and industrial enterprises—are housed in adjacent pavilions.

What Visitors Will Find

More than 100 companies will present the full spectrum of recycling technology, from crushers and shredders to complex lines for mixed waste processing. The emphasis is on working equipment and real implementation cases rather than catalog displays. Visitors can examine individual units and complete production lines, with examples of products manufactured from recycled materials.

The business program addresses the questions the industry is actively debating: EPR enforcement practice, new GOST standards, and the economics of recycling. Regulators, major recyclers, and technology companies will discuss economic models and growth points, giving attendees a practical view of how the 100% mandate will reshape operations.

A New Home, A New Chapter

The move to VDNH EXPO marks a fresh start for the alliance. RUPLASTICA and RECYCLING SOLUTIONS, along with mold and additive technology segments, will occupy Pavilion 75, while UPAKEXPO anchors Pavilion 69. Kirill Piskarev, director of the exhibition alliance, described the venue change as an opportunity to “add novelty and freshness to the exposition, its structure, and segmentation.”

For an industry under regulatory pressure and material constraints, RECYCLING SOLUTIONS 2027 offers more than a trade show. It is a working session on survival and competitiveness in a market where recycling is no longer optional. The dates are January 26–29, 2027. The venue is VDNH EXPO, Moscow. The question is whether the industry will arrive prepared to act.
