Returning to Orlando with a Fresh Schedule
The International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) has opened registration for the 2026 Global Produce & Floral Show, set to take place October 14–16, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. This marks the event’s return to Orlando after several years and introduces a significant scheduling change designed to enhance the attendee experience.
A New Midweek Format
Responding to consistent feedback from members and attendees, the IFPA has moved the Global Show from a weekend schedule to a Wednesday through Friday format. IFPA CEO Cathy Burns explained the rationale: “We heard everyone loud and clear—by moving the Global Show off the weekend to a Wednesday through Friday schedule, we are creating the space for three full, strong days of engagement.” The change is intended to maximize value across the event and encourage fuller participation throughout all three days.
Building on Record Momentum
The 2026 event enters with strong momentum following the 2025 edition, which attracted attendees from more than 50 countries. Last year’s show featured a record-breaking 3,500+ buyers engaging with nearly 1,100 exhibiting companies on the expo floor. It also marked the largest representation of global retailers in show history, with significant buyer presence from Asia and Latin America.
What to Expect
The Global Produce & Floral Show is the premier annual gathering for the fresh produce and floral supply chain, convening more than 20,000 professionals from across the industry. The program features high-impact general sessions, including the IFPA’s annual State of the Industry address delivered by CEO Cathy Burns. A comprehensive Expo serves as a global marketplace showcasing products, services, and solutions across produce and floral.
Keynote Speaker Lineup
The 2026 event features three distinctive keynote sessions:
- Wednesday, October 14:Â Cathy Burns, IFPA CEO, delivers the annual State of the Industry address, offering insights on key trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the global produce and floral community.
