The Central Asian Platform for Agricultural Machinery and Livestock Technology
AgroExpo Uzbekistan is the leading international trade fair for agricultural machinery, horticulture, greenhouse technology, crop production, and animal husbandry in Uzbekistan. Held annually in Tashkent, it brings together farmers, agribusiness representatives, technology providers, and government institutions from across Central Asia and beyond.
Event Overview
The 10th Anniversary AgroExpo Uzbekistan / Agrotech Expo 2026 is scheduled for 25â27 November 2026 at the Uzexpocentre NEC in Tashkent. The exhibition is organised by IFWexpo Heidelberg GmbH and UzExpoCentre, with official support from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The event has established itself as the central professional platform for Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector, serving as a unique meeting point for actors from across Central Asia as well as international manufacturers of investment-ready machinery, equipment, and technologies for crop production, horticulture, and livestock farming.
Scale and Participation
AgroExpo Uzbekistan 2026 expects to attract approximately 6,000 trade visitors and more than 200 exhibitors. The 2025 edition featured 180+ exhibitors from 20 countries, including official national pavilions from Germany, Poland, Austria, and Iran, and occupied 15,800 square metres of exhibition space.
A distinctive feature of the event is its strong international character: approximately 70% of exhibitors were international companies, while farmers and agricultural enterprises from all regions of Uzbekistan were actively represented. This makes AgroExpo Uzbekistan widely regarded as the only truly international agricultural trade fair in Uzbekistan.
John Deere, a global leader in agricultural machinery and precision agriculture, serves as the General Sponsor of AgroExpo Uzbekistan 2026.

Market Context
Uzbekistan is Central Asia’s most populous country with approximately 34 million residents and one of the fastest-growing markets in the region. Agriculture remains a central pillar of the economy, contributing roughly one-quarter of GDP and playing a vital role in employment and regional development.
Due to arid climatic conditions, over 85% of agricultural land is irrigated, making efficient water management critically important. While cotton and wheat remain major crops, Uzbekistan is diversifying toward fruit, vegetable, and livestock production. The country produces over 20 million tonnes of fruits and vegetables annually, but only 10â15% is processed domestically due to limited cooling and storage capacity. This creates strong demand for processing equipment, packaging solutions, refrigeration technology, and modern cold chain systems.
Livestock accounts for roughly 40% of total agricultural production, with about 95% of livestock held by private farms. This generates growing demand for modern feeding systems, breeding technologies, housing facilities, and animal health solutions.
Why It Matters
For international companies, AgroExpo Uzbekistan provides a strategic entry point into a market undergoing significant agricultural modernisation. The exhibition attracts procurement decision-makers, farmers, agribusiness leaders, and government representatives from across Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
The event is officially attended by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other high-level officials, underscoring its strategic importance for the sector and for international cooperation in agriculture.
For local businesses, the fair offers access to global suppliers of agricultural machinery, processing equipment, and digital solutions that support the modernisation of Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector. The co-location of multiple specialised forums and events creates synergies across the agricultural value chain.
