WA Major Projects Conference

Western Australia’s largest major projects & infrastructure conference attracting over 250 delegates each year. Topics covered – Transport, housing, health, education, energy & water.

The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre will host the Annual WA Major Projects Conference in March 2026. The State’s premier major projects and infrastructure conference, which is expected to draw 250 delegates, will offer a high-level forum for discussing important projects and subjects related to Western Australia’s infrastructure pipeline.

Western Australia’s economy continues to be the strongest in Australia, with a $4.2 billion budget surplus for the State. $39 billion has been allocated to large-scale projects in the areas of transportation, health, urban renewal, the regions, and sustainable green energy, to mention a few, as part of what can only be called a massive infrastructure program.

WA plans to invest $13.6 billion in transportation infrastructure over the next four years, $5.9 billion of which will go toward METRONET, which will carry out the essential expansion of Perth’s passenger rail network. In addition, the State Government has made a definite commitment to address climate change by investing $3 billion in green energy projects, promoting the production of large batteries and hydrogen, as well as the extraction of rare earth minerals.

Along with presentations on significant projects from the transportation, health, housing, energy, and education sectors, the conference will feature keynote speakers from Infrastructure WA and Development WA who will provide firsthand insights into these priority investments. The main panel discussion of the event will center on efforts to make the State green and blue through environmentally conscious infrastructure that improves local communities.

It’s important to attend the Western Australia Major Projects Conference. Come engage with 250 delegates over two days of conversation, debate, and beneficial networking.
