SightCity Frankfurt

SightCity Frankfurt is the largest international trade fair for aids for the blind and visually impaired. SightCity will take place as a hybrid trade fair: Live in Frankfurt at Kongresshaus Kap Europa, Osloer Straße 5, 60327 Frankfurt am Main.

There are around 500,000 visually impaired and around 150,000 blind people living in Germany. For these people, a highly specialized market niche has developed in the field of aids for the blind and visually impaired.

Since 2003, the SightCity trade fair in Frankfurt has presented aids and services for visually impaired and blind people. More than 20 countries are represented each year. In addition to the exhibition, the SightCity Forum always offers a varied lecture program. The exhibitors’ offerings range from classic aids (mobility aids, high-tech solutions, practical kitchen and household aids for the blind and visually impaired) to online banking specifically for the blind and visually impaired.

SightCity was created as a joint organization of various assistive device manufacturers. Making something new possible together, even if you are otherwise in competition with each other: This approach counted more than ever during the Corona crisis, so that in 2021 and 2022, in view of the pandemic situation, we had the trade fair held as a purely digital trade fair.

  • Manufacturers from all over the world present novelties and proven products from their range of aids – especially for visually impaired and blind people.
  • Around 4,000 visitors find out about the latest developments in the assistive technology sector and attend the forum with exciting presentations on topics relating to blindness and visual impairment
