The National Sanitation and Environment Fair – Fenasan and the 35th AESabesp Technical Meeting (from October 22 to 24, at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo), the biggest sanitation event in Latin America, will be even bigger in 2024! It is carried out by AESabesp – Association of Sabesp Engineers.
In addition to expanding the exhibition space, Fenasan will be integrated into the Waste Expo Brasil fair, which focuses on services, machines and equipment for solid waste management. With the integration of the two Fairs, there will be more than 30 thousand m² of exhibition area.
With this news, Fenasan will once again make history, not only contributing to the technical and technological development of the environmental sanitation sector, but to boosting the market and boosting the country’s economy.
This edition marks AESabesp’s 37 years of history helping to develop sustainable sanitation in Brazil and contributing to people’s health and quality of life. And also the 50th anniversary of Sabesp, the largest sanitation company in Latin America. A macro event, which will bring together the biggest players and experts in the sanitation sector and strengthen it towards its universalization”, highlights the president of AESabesp, Luciomar Werneck.
Holding Waste Expo on the same date and being a complementary sector – solid waste – will enable integration between the physical spaces of the two fairs, with free circulation and visitation open to both audiences, with no need for two different credentials. The Fenasan visitor credential will give access to Waste, and vice versa.
Alignment with SDGs and ESG
The central theme of this edition is “Environmental Sanitation in the Globalization of Sustainable Development”. With an audience traditionally of 22 thousand visitors and aligned with the SDGs – Sustainable Development Goals established by the UN and the concepts of ESG, the 2024 edition will continue to expand the dialogue around the issues of environmental sanitation, environment and sustainability and promote the sharing of highly qualified knowledge.
The event will bring together experts and professionals with a high level of knowledge, such as engineers, chemists, biologists, technicians, researchers, students, managers and businesspeople who work in environmental sanitation and, in general, all people interested in advancing the application of knowledge of engineering and technological innovations in the sector, with the participation of congressmen, visitors to the Fair and the most renowned companies in the sanitation production chain: manufacturers, distributors and service providers in the market.
In addition to being a business hub and networking opportunities, the event aims to promote and disseminate the technological development of sanitation and products used in water treatment, adduction and supply systems and collection systems, sewage treatment, drainage and disposal end of waste and other environmental sanitation actions.
