INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR FOR SPECIAL OCCASION FABRICS & ACCESSORIES
The fair was launched as an extension of WEDDING FASHION MOSCOW — the biggest trade show in Russian and East Europe that takes place in Moscow for more than 20 years, gathering up to 300 exhibitors and thousands of trade visitors from all over the world.
Today MODATEX EXPO is an independent project where take part fabric manufacturers of the following sectors: bridal fabrics, eveningwear and cocktail fabrics, children ceremonial cloth fabrics, ballet fabrics, carnival costume fabrics, dance fabrics (ballroom dancing, middle east dancing etc.), figure skating costume fabrics, rhythmic gymnastics costume fabrics, show-costume fabrics and similar.
MODATEX EXPO provides fabric manufacturers with an opportunity to showcase their products to the most influential customers of the sector (factories, manufacturers, designers, wholesale fabric companies, buying houses, resellers, fashion houses, tailoring studios) from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and other countries. In 2022 and 2023 the fair was visited by more than 5000 trade companies.
MODATEX EXPO is co-located with WEDDING FASHION MOSCOW fair. A famous Russian contest for young designers — GOLDEN THREAD is organized within the framework of the shows.

We welcome big factories and small designs ateliers making small quantity exclusive items by orders. The exhibitors are mainly manufacturers from Turkey, China, India, UAE, Italy, Israel, Russia, Belarus.
