The Future Steel Forum will examine how cutting-edge technology can be combined with one goal in mind: to completely transform the production of steel.
The Future Steel Forum was established in response to the global steel industry’s growing interest in digital manufacturing, particularly with regard to industry 4.0 technologies like Big Data, the Industrial Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.
Speakers from prominent steel companies, such as ArcelorMittal, Tata Steel, Voestalpine, POSCO, Emirates Steel, US Steel, Big River Steel, Liberty Steel Group, TMK, Kobe Steel, Metinvest Digital, Badische Stahl-Engineering, Buderus Stahl, and many more, have addressed the event over the previous five years.
The development and/or application of systems that rely on these technologies is typically the focus of future Steel Forum speakers, and the event itself aims to draw a diverse audience of technologists and steelmakers. In a word, the Forum is a gathering place for progressive steel producers who welcome cutting-edge production technologies that represent the core of “smart manufacturing.”
