Anyone interested in the BDSM, Fetish, or Leather Lifestyle is welcome to attend DomCon. It is inclusive of all lifestyles and genders, regardless of sexual orientation. Because DomCon is the only gathering place for professionals and lifestyle enthusiasts, some people have assumed incorrectly that it is exclusively for ProDommes or Female Dominants. Both seasoned travelers and those just beginning to explore and learn are welcome at DomCon.
The goal of DomCon is to carry out Mistress Cyan’s vision of bringing a better understanding of BDSM to the Adult Alternative Lifestyle and uniting the BDSM Lifestyle, Leather, Fetish, and Professional Communities to celebrate diversity, share common interests, and raise awareness through informative seminars, social events, and activities.
Dress Code
The only rules in the convention area are that full nudity is not permitted and there is no official “Dress Code.” Women’s genitals and nipples must be covered, while men’s genitalia must be covered. Since this isn’t a “hotel takeover,” there will typically be other “non DomCon” visitors staying at the hotel. As such, the general guideline is to wear “family friendly” attire in the public areas of the hotel.
