COMPLAST NEPAL serves as a platform for plastics industry manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers to exhibit their goods and offerings to prospective clients in Nepal.
The concept behind COMPLAST NEPAL was to encourage trade with Nepal, one of the developing economies in the South Asian region. With a GDP per capita of US$ 1,236 in 2021, Nepal has a GDP of US$ 36 billion. The nation’s primary economic sectors are tourism, services, carpet and apparel industries, and agriculture. With US$ 10 billion in imports, mostly in the form of petroleum products, machinery and equipment, electrical goods, and medications, Nepal’s exports are valued at US$ 917 million, with the agricultural and textile sectors accounting for the majority of these.
COMPLAST NEPAL supports the expansion and advancement of the plastics sector in Nepal. The exhibition can encourage local manufacturers to modernize their production methods and incorporate new technologies by presenting the newest inventions and technologies.
