The largest tourism event in the Baltics, which will draw thousands of travelers and industry professionals from over 34 countries, will be held at the Čīpsala International Expo Centre. Balttour provides a wealth of information about well-known travel spots worldwide, as well as lesser-known local gems in Latvia, new developments in the travel industry, conferences, and research conducted recently. International business-to-business events play a crucial role in Balttour by helping companies from around the globe find new partners.
On 30th birthday Balttour provided its visitors with information on what was going on in Latvia at the time, as well as great travel deals, local tourist attractions, and a wealth of useful advice about the most sought-after foreign travel destinations. Presenting its new destinations, airBaltic was present at the Balttour. Exciting travel options in Latvia were advertised by other tour operators. Presentations about nearby attractions were held in addition to a matchmaking event for international travel agents. The conference “Travel research in Latvia: current and future trends” was held at the Čđpsala Expo Centre. It was co-organized by the Association of Latvian Travel Agents and Operators (ALTA) and Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences with the goal of fostering a deeper and more insightful discussion on current trends in the travel industry research.
