THE WORLD’S LEADING HUMANITARIAN AID AND DISASTER RELIEF EVENT
The largest humanitarian aid and disaster relief event in the world, AidEx, is returning to Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland, October 23–24. High-level conference sessions, workshops, discussion groups, case studies, and training courses created to address the difficulties in aid are all on display at the conference.
“Revitalizing Humanitarian Assistance – How do we deliver better aid in conflict-affected hot spots?” is the theme of this year’s AidEx. With the growing number of difficult-to-reach and complex conflict areas, AidEx Main Agenda will look at creative ways to deliver aid more efficiently. This provides a forum for discussing potential solutions, exchanging knowledge, and encouraging cooperation in order to address the pressing issues of humanitarian aid in areas rife with conflict.
Development2030, a worldwide gathering that brings together international development players to advance sustainable development goals, is held concurrently with AidEx. When combined, these events bring professionals in the fields of international development, aid, and relief together under one roof to learn about the newest innovations, network with new suppliers, exchange experiences with colleagues, forge deep connections, and work together on new projects.
More than 3000 people from 94 countries attended in 2023, with a notable presence from UN organizations, Red Cross and Red Crescent societies, regional and global NGOs, donors, foundations, the government, and the private sector.
