HoRex & CleanExpo Qazaqstan

Central Asia’s Premier Platform for Hospitality and Professional Cleaning

HoRex Qazaqstan and CleanExpo Qazaqstan have established themselves as the definitive professional platforms for the hospitality, foodservice, retail, and cleaning industries in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Held concurrently at the Atakent Exhibition Center in Almaty, these twin exhibitions bring together manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and industry professionals for three days of networking, innovation, and business development.

A Dual Focus on Hospitality and Hygiene

HoRex Qazaqstan stands as the only exhibition in Kazakhstan dedicated to the HoReCa industry, gathering suppliers of products and equipment for hotels, restaurants, cafés, bars, supermarkets, and shopping centers. The exhibition covers a comprehensive range of sections including equipment, food and ingredients, drinks, IT solutions, supplies, inventory, furniture, and textiles.

Running alongside it, CleanExpo Qazaqstan specializes in modern solutions for professional cleaning, sanitation, hygiene, dry cleaning, and laundry services. This parallel focus creates a unique synergy, allowing hospitality professionals to source everything from kitchen equipment to professional cleaning solutions under one roof.

Record-Breaking 2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of HoRex & CleanExpo Qazaqstan, held from November 12 to 14, demonstrated the events’ growing significance. The exhibitions brought together 64 companies from 10 countries, with 22 enterprises presenting their products for the first time. International participation spanned Belarus, Iran, Italy, Spain, Germany, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Japan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Russia, and the USA.

Visitor numbers underscored the events’ regional reach. Over the three days, the combined exhibitions attracted 9,082 professionals from 46 countries when counted alongside co-located events FoodExpo Qazaqstan and QazPack.

The Horex Business Forum

A central feature of the exhibition is the Horex Business Forum, which has become a key gathering point for market experts, business representatives, and industry associations. The 2025 forum featured 9 thematic blocks, 3 panel sessions, and 8 discussions covering 25 topics, with 35 speakers and 3 moderators.

Sessions addressed critical industry issues including crisis management and safety, IT trends transforming HoReCa in Kazakhstan, franchise opportunities and risks, talent shortages in the hospitality sector, marketing strategies using artificial intelligence, and the role of social media influencers in shaping restaurant reputations. The forum concluded with a foresight session examining key challenges and steps for developing Kazakhstan’s hospitality market.

CleanExpo Interactive Zone

CleanExpo Qazaqstan 2025 introduced an interactive zone offering unique opportunities for training and practical exercises. Visitors were introduced to innovative solutions in hygiene safety and cleaning throughout the day, including practical cases and master classes from leading experts. This hands-on approach allowed professionals to test equipment and discuss its application in real-world scenarios, particularly valuable for hoteliers and cleaning companies.

Synergy with Co-Located Events

One of the distinctive strengths of HoRex and CleanExpo is their simultaneous holding with FoodExpo Qazaqstan and QazPack. This synergy creates a unified business ecosystem bringing together specialists from HoReCa, retail, food industry, packaging, and related sectors. Participants gain access to a significantly broader audience of professionals who make decisions on procurement, technology adoption, and business development.

Marketing Support and Participation Options

Exhibitors benefit from comprehensive marketing support provided free of charge, a distinctive feature of these exhibitions. Unlike many exhibition projects where participant promotion is a separate paid service, the organizers help companies attract target audience attention during the preparation stage through publications on official online resources, social media placements, and email newsletters to a specialized database of industry professionals.

Participation options range from standard equipped stands to premium custom-built spaces, with partnership packages available for companies seeking maximum market visibility.

Institutional Support

HoRex Qazaqstan and CleanExpo Qazaqstan enjoy official support from the Akimat of Almaty and the Kazakhstan Association of Hotels and Restaurants (KAGiR). Forum partners include the Association “Club of Restaurateurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and the company Clockster. The events are organized by Kazakhstan exhibition company Iteca together with its international partner, ICA Events Group.

Looking Ahead: 2026 Edition

The 21st Kazakhstan International Specialized Exhibitions HoRex Qazaqstan and CleanExpo Qazaqstan will take place from November 11 to 13, 2026, at the Atakent Exhibition Center in Almaty. Applications for participation are now open, with organizers offering various formats to address business objectives effectively.

Participant Perspectives

Exhibitors consistently emphasize the value of these exhibitions as business platforms. Alexander Verbilo, Head of Modernization and Foreign Economic Relations at Torgmash, noted: “We have been participating in this exhibition for several years. This event allows us to find new clients among consumers in the Republic of Kazakhstan, present our new equipment to our partners who are already present in this market.”

Valery Bukreev, Sales Manager at BWT, added: “We are glad to participate in the HoRex Qazaqstan exhibition, which we have been taking part in for several years. There have been many meetings with existing partners and new partners. There is great interest, and there are partners already working, so we will most likely participate in this exhibition next year as well, as the market is growing, and we feel this need.”

Visitor Gulzat Baiseitova, Sales Manager at Chocofood, shared: “I believe that both the exhibition and the forum provide enormous opportunities for everyone working in food production and public catering. Here restaurateurs and manufacturers—each brand presents itself, and this creates an excellent platform for useful acquaintances and experience exchange. It is especially valuable that participation is free, and I want as many people as possible to know about such opportunities.”

For professionals across the hospitality and cleaning industries, HoRex Qazaqstan and CleanExpo Qazaqstan remain the essential annual gathering for discovering new technologies, forging partnerships, and shaping the future of service industries across Central Asia.
