ColdChain Qazaqstan

Central Asia’s Dedicated Platform for Cold Logistics and Temperature-Controlled Storage

ColdChain Qazaqstan has established itself as the first and only specialized exhibition in Central Asia dedicated to cold storage, transportation, and cold chain services. Since its launch, the event has served as the definitive meeting point for professionals seeking innovative solutions to maintain the strict temperature requirements essential for perishable goods across the region.

A Strategic Focus on Cold Logistics

Held annually at the Atakent Exhibition Center in Almaty, ColdChain Qazaqstan addresses a critical and growing need in Central Asia’s food and pharmaceutical supply chains. The exhibition covers the full spectrum of cold chain solutions, including equipment, vehicles, services, and the latest innovations for the storage and transportation of temperature-sensitive products.

The event brings together a highly targeted audience of industry professionals. Visitors include manufacturers and suppliers of food and beverages, fruits and vegetables, meat and dairy products, seafood and fish, frozen and chilled foods, as well as pharmaceutical products. The exhibition also attracts representatives from agriculture and horticulture, wholesale and retail trade, transportation and logistics, cold storage facilities, and the HoReCa sector.

Strategic Partnership with AgroWorld Qazaqstan

A distinctive strength of ColdChain Qazaqstan is its strategic partnership with AgroWorld Qazaqstan, the largest agricultural exhibition in the region. The two events are held concurrently on the same exhibition platform, creating powerful synergies between the agricultural production sector and cold chain logistics providers.

This co-location ensures that ColdChain Qazaqstan exhibitors gain access to a broad audience of agricultural producers, food manufacturers, and distributors who rely on cold chain infrastructure to preserve and deliver their products. The combined events attract thousands of industry professionals, creating extensive networking and business development opportunities.

Strong Performance in 2025

The 9th edition of ColdChain Qazaqstan, held from October 29 to 31, 2025, alongside AgroWorld Qazaqstan, demonstrated the event’s growing significance. The combined exhibitions brought together 174 companies from 25 countries, attracting 2,152 industry experts, heads of agricultural enterprises, manufacturers, and distributors from more than 20 countries.

The business program featured thematic sessions, expert discussions, and specialized workshops addressing strategic issues in cold logistics and agricultural development. Key topics included rational use of water resources, infrastructure modernization, implementation of digital and energy-efficient technologies, and the development of sustainable practices in the context of global climate challenges.

A significant development during the 2025 exhibition was the signing of a Memorandum between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands on October 30, establishing cooperation in poultry farming, experience exchange, and the implementation of innovative solutions. This document marked a new stage in strengthening international interaction and forming new directions of professional partnership.

Supporting Industries and Visitor Profile

ColdChain Qazaqstan serves a diverse range of industries that depend on reliable cold chain infrastructure. The exhibition’s visitor profile encompasses food manufacturers and suppliers, fruit and vegetable producers, meat and dairy processors, seafood and fish suppliers, frozen and chilled food companies, as well as the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

Agriculture and horticulture businesses, wholesale distribution and retail chains, transportation and logistics companies, cold storage operators, and HoReCa establishments all find value in the solutions presented at the exhibition. This broad industry reach reflects the essential role of cold chain logistics in maintaining product quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards across multiple sectors.

Digital Innovation and Networking

ColdChain Qazaqstan leverages modern digital tools to enhance the exhibition experience for both participants and visitors. The Iteca.Events mobile application, developed by the organizer, provides a comprehensive digital platform for networking and business interaction.

The application enables users to preview exhibitor lists, study the business program, schedule meetings, and find specific companies or specialists. Its badge-scanning feature allows visitors to instantly capture contact data, add notes, and export all contacts to Excel with a single click. The platform also supports team collaboration, enabling one employee to scan badges at a booth while another sends commercial proposals from the office.

The application operates not only during the exhibition days but also for several months before and after the event, providing extended opportunities for engagement with clients and partners. In 2025 alone, users performed over 319,000 “interested/pass” actions, more than 172,000 search queries, over 91,000 badge scans, and scheduled more than 12,000 business meetings through the platform.

Institutional Support

ColdChain Qazaqstan enjoys official support from key government and industry bodies, including the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Almaty, and the Poultry Union of Kazakhstan. The exhibition is organized by Kazakhstan’s exhibition company Iteca in partnership with ICA Events Group.
